Venturing into a dreamlike realm, the Concept EQG was photographed in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, at a setting that blended the serenity of nature with the spirit of innovation.

Electric Powertrain
The Future is Here.
The Concept EQG is the harbinger of the all-electric G-Class, which will celebrate its premiere in 2024. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art electric powertrain with four electric motors close to the wheel and individually controllable, that delivers impressive performance. This innovative system ensures a smooth and powerful driving experience, staying true to the G-Class’s legendary capabilities.
No limits
Off-Road Prowess.
Thanks to the pulling power of its electric all-wheel drive and its low centre of gravity, the Concept EQG is optimally prepared for adventures of the future. In fact, it feels more at home on difficult terrain than anywhere else. It maintains the G-Class’s exceptional off-road abilities, featuring advanced suspension and drivetrain systems that allow it to conquer a variety of terrains with ease.
As with any real 4x4, the Concept EQG's off-road reduction can be activated via a shiftable 2-speed gearbox in order to meet the high "G"-specific off-road requirements with confidence.
The Concept EQG is also very much in the design tradition of the model series and can be recognised at first glance as a G-Class. The near-production study adopts the angular silhouette including the iconic elements.
These include the black panel front, the typical blue and new elements such as two-tone paintwork and round daytime running lights in the outside mirrors. It is also equipped with roof rack integrated white LED strip as a modern interpretation of the searchlight.
