      "Stronger than Time" – the motto introducing this generation of the G-Class is more apt than ever. Since premiering in 1979, the off-road icon has remained true to its roots. And it will continue to do so in future. Here a look at highlights to come over the next two years.

      Since its premiere in 1979, the G-Class has remained true to its roots. At the same time, the off-road legend has undergone continuous technical development and thus, mastered the rise from "workhorse" to brand icon. And in future, too, the motto will remain: "Stronger than Time". Accordingly, G-Class fans can look forward to numerous highlights over the next two years.

      Electric G-Class

      2024 is the time.

      One thing is certain: We have a lot planned for the G-Class as early as 2023 and will continue to offer it with conventional combustion engines. But that's not all: from 2024, the electric G-Class will be produced in parallel, with legendary design language meeting advanced drive technology that goes better in terms of driving dynamics – also, and above all, off-road. In short: the perfect combination of Mercedes heritage and pioneering technology.

      [1] Weitere Informationen zum offiziellen Kraftstoffverbrauch und den offiziellen spezifischen CO₂-Emissionen neuer Personenkraftwagen können dem "Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO₂-Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch" neuer Personenkraftwagen entnommen werden, der an allen Verkaufsstellen und bei der Deutschen Automobil Treuhand GmbH unter www.dat.de unentgeltlich erhältlich ist.

      [2] Die angegebenen Werte wurden nach dem vorgeschriebenen Messverfahren ermittelt. Es handelt sich um die „NEFZ-CO₂-Werte“ i. S. v. Art. 2 Nr. 1 Durchführungsverordnung (EU) 2017/1153. Die Kraftstoffverbrauchswerte wurden auf Basis dieser Werte errechnet. Der Stromverbrauch wurde auf der Grundlage der VO 692/2008/EG ermittelt.

      [3] Die angegebenen Werte wurden nach dem Messverfahren WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure) ermittelt. Die angegebenen Spannweiten beziehen sich auf ECE-Märkte. Der Energieverbrauch und der CO2-Ausstoß eines Pkw sind nicht nur von der effizienten Ausnutzung des Kraftstoffs bzw. des Energieträgers durch den Pkw, sondern auch vom Fahrstil und anderen nichttechnischen Faktoren abhängig.
