      In 1993, the G-Class broke fresh ground in terms of driving performance and equipment: The rare 500 GE V8 is considered the harbinger of the high-end off-roaders. Mercedes-Benz celebrates the 30th birthday of the G 500 with the Final Edition G 500 V8.

      It all began in 1993: Mercedes-Benz equips the G model for the first time with an eight-cylinder engine. The 500 GE V8 made its debut in an exclusive small series and marked the first high point in the history of cultivated performance on and off the road. The brand with the star is now celebrating its 30th birthday with the Final Edition G 500 V8.

      [2] Die angegebenen Werte wurden nach dem vorgeschriebenen Messverfahren ermittelt. Es handelt sich um die „NEFZ-CO₂-Werte“ i. S. v. Art. 2 Nr. 1 Durchführungsverordnung (EU) 2017/1153. Die Kraftstoffverbrauchswerte wurden auf Basis dieser Werte errechnet. Der Stromverbrauch wurde auf der Grundlage der VO 692/2008/EG ermittelt.
