We accompanied Igor on his iconic adventure and reveal the countries he crossed, the challenges he overcame and how he equipped his G-Class for such a long journey.
Igor Djurdjevic first saw the Mercedes-Benz G-Class when he was 11 years old and was immediately captivated. The timeless design and durability of the off-road icon fascinated him so much that he resolved to own a G-Class. Many years later, he fulfilled his dream.
Same month of birth: Igor and his G-Class.
Igor has been taking adventurous trips with his Azure Blue Pearl Metallic Mercedes-Benz G-Class G 320 for more than two years. Fun fact: Igor’s 211 hp off-road legend was produced in October 1995 – the same month Igor was born.
Like a family member.
As loyal as Igor is to his G-Class, it‘s also loyal to him and has never let him down. The Mercedes-Benz G 320 has been a faithful companion on both short and long journeys and Igor has enjoyed sharing his deep passion for the off-road icon with like-minded people along the way.
My G-Class is like a family member to me, so I treat it accordingly – and it provides great driving without any problems.

The adventure begins.
Igor drove his G-Class south from Norway on July 21st. "I tried to take advantage of every moment to stop and rest in nature." The first overnight stop was Sundsvall, Sweden, where he was unable to pitch his tent due to a strong storm. The only option was to sleep in the back of the G-Class. He could always rely on his G 320, even in bad weather!

Challenge on the road.
On his trip, the road itself was the biggest challenge. You never know what to expect on long journeys, so Igor equipped his G-Class for an adventure. "The most important things were the roof rack, tent, camping equipment, off-road tyres and, of course, positive energy," Igor said convincingly.
I believe that we can go any distance together and meet any goal.
From Sweden Igor traveled to Helsingør, Denmark, where he could finally use his tent! From his sleeping quarters he had a magnificent view of the sea and daydreamed of his final destination. After a short detour to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Igor continued south to the Czech Republic the next morning. The "Golden City" of Prague mesmerised Igor, but he spent only one night there before continuing toward his home country of Serbia.

Blessing in disguise.
As he reached his Serbian hometown, the G-Class engine suddenly cut out, but Igor was able to fix the problem the very next morning. A screw had come loose on the positive battery terminal, which had cut power to the fuel pump.
