The G-Class is more than just a design piece or a lifestyle object — it is also a true icon for professional or purposeful everyday use: whether it’s used as a forestry patrol vehicle, an expedition vehicle, or a rescue vehicle — every G-Class can be customised with professional special equipment.

With its professional use and the optional special equipment features available for this, the G-Class is showing a new kind of off-road character: among other things, the roof rack, spare wheel, rear ladder, protective grille for the headlights and all-terrain tyres perfectly equip the G-Class for challenges off-road and in the wilderness. Despite the fact that the G-Class was used professionally at an early stage, it did not run under the “Professional Line” designation at the beginning.

Made for all purposes

The Professional Icon.

A focus of the G-Class for professionals was established early on. In addition to professionals from various industries such as mining and gardening, for example, municipal operations, fire brigades and emergency services also rely on the versatile off-road vehicle. Each G-Class is individually manufactured for the respective application with special optional equipment so that it is equipped for every purpose.
