      Test track for prototypes

      The local mountain in Graz.

      The 5.6-kilometre route up Graz's 1,445-metre-high local mountain contains gradients of up to 60 per cent and side slopes of up to 40 per cent. Precisely because it covers all off-road requirements, every new G-Class model series has to undergo testing on the Schöckl. Only then may the "G" go into series production.

      Stronger than gravity.

      The G-Class and a dam at the edge of the world — these are the perfect ingredients for a unique stunt. On the 101-metre-high Punta Negra Dam in Argentina, the G 350 d demonstrates that it defies gravity with its weight of 2,451 kilograms.

      [2] Die angegebenen Werte wurden nach dem vorgeschriebenen Messverfahren ermittelt. Es handelt sich um die „NEFZ-CO₂-Werte“ i. S. v. Art. 2 Nr. 1 Durchführungsverordnung (EU) 2017/1153. Die Kraftstoffverbrauchswerte wurden auf Basis dieser Werte errechnet. Der Stromverbrauch wurde auf der Grundlage der VO 692/2008/EG ermittelt.
