From the 2023 season, factory pickup at the G-Class Experience Center in Graz, Austria, will offer G-Class customers an unforgettable, exclusive and individual experience – direct from the birthplace of the off-road icon. For the 2023 season, only a few exclusive dates are available between 17th April and 16th November - for the time being only for customers from Germany. The experience begins.
Well rested, the next morning starts with a hearty breakfast before you take a private shuttle to the G-Class Experience Center. At our 100,000 square metre site on an old air base, you can expect pure driving pleasure and a fleet of consisting of a wide variety of G Models.

And then things really get going: At different driving stations you can test the fascinating capabilities of the off-road icon for the first time with our G-Class fleet, and experience all of its facets up close. Together with your personal instructor, you can dare to drive up the "Iron Schöckl" - a ramp with a 100% incline - and give the G-Class a mud bath in the forest. And if you've ever wondered why the G-Class has a grab handle, you'll get the answer when you drive over the "G Rock".

Lunch at the G Base
The world of the G-Class.
Then enjoy lunch at G Base, a former hangar. Here you can also admire the famous Amber Cube – a G-Class from the first production year, 1979, encased in the world’s largest synthetic resin installation. In addition, you can get an introduction to the extraordinary history and an insight into the technology of our off-road icon in our exhibition.

585 hp on asphalt
Dynamic driving manoeuvres.
And because the G-Class is well known for its versatility not only off-road, but also on paved paths, it's time to get behind the wheel again. So you swap forest, hills and water for the asphalt of our dynamic surface and experience with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 what it means to accelerate 585 hp. You will also learn how to manoeuvre the G-Class in slalom and how to brake and avoid dangerous situations.

The vehicle handover

Then the last item on the agenda of the day – and of course the absolute highlight: handing over your new G-Class. To do this, we stage the model of your choice in our Glass Cube in a befitting way. Get excited when the curtains slowly open and reveal your new vehicle for the first time – goosebumps guaranteed!
And even if your exclusive event at the G-Class Experience Center ends after a detailed vehicle instruction, the most exciting journey is still ahead of you. Namely the one with your own personal off-road icon. We'll make sure your licence plates are attached, give you the keys - and off you go!
